FIFA World Cup & Team Canada Soccer

As a worldwide partner of the FIFA World Cup and a national partner of Canada Soccer, Visa needed to start building momentum early. Their "in" was the Visa Play & Stay initiative—a program that helps young girls stay in the sport, offering them a clinic with national team players and a trip to the Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina match.
At the Play & Stay event, Richie Laryea gave the girls tips, tricks, and shootout opportunities. My goal was to capture the raw energy of it all, so I threw a mic on Richie to catch his live reactions as the girls tried to steal the ball from a pro.
At the game, we followed them on a behind-the-scenes tour of BMO Field, capturing the pure awe of their first live match. From tunnel walks to the vibrant fan fits and goal celebrations, the content perfectly captured how Visa taps into the culture of the game.
