Hey, Gabe here. This all began in 2004 or maybe 2005, when my mom bought me my first camera, an Olympus D-575 Zoom. Why she spent nearly $450 on a camera for a 7-year-old is beyond me, but to her credit, I still use it. Let’s be honest at this rate it’ll outlive me so long as AAs are still being made. But that camera was the ignition to an eventual obsession with photography. Years later that little camera in my hands, taking nothing special photos, evolved into finding myself photographing weddings, portraits, events and eventually for freelance clients and corporations.
The obsession for photography never actually put me into a box thankfully. Later taking on graphic design, some art direction and videography I’ve been grateful to work and develop with clients like Air Canada, Warner Bros., Ciroc, KraftHeinz, Becel, and Campari, and I’m realizing that’s a lot of food brands… oh Fume and Station House Cannabis. But I suppose those are just consumables too. Maybe in a few years, I’ll find myself in automotive or banking, technically I’ve already done banking but that’s unrelated.
So I think that’s a good summary, but grabbing a chat is always better.
